Lex Hotel NYC

A great surprise. I travel to NY at least once a year for work and I could have not been happier with this year's hotel choice. It has a great location, easy to walk uptown, downtown, and get on the metro, even to Brooklyn. The rooftop is super lovely, even though I did not have the chance to spend much time up there as it was still Feb. The breakfast included is a great perk, simple but everything you need: muffins, croissants, cereals, fruits, coffee, and juice; plus you can ask for coffee and tea at any time-( I loved getting a hot cup of tea after a long day of work). But I do feel the best part is the staff, they are always there, welcoming, attentive, and available to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I will 100% look into their availability next year!

Convenient location (for us), exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff, continental breakfast included (but no decaf), comfortable but "cozy" room, charging outlets by each bed side, tub with shower.

We had issues with a sliding glass door in our room that wouldn't lock and a phone that didn't work and the staff took care of it immediately and switched our room within 15 minutes of us notifying them of the issues. The location of this hotel is perfect and makes it easy to get to the tourist "hot spots" of the city. This is our second time staying at this hotel and will be the hotel we continue to stay at when we visit the city.

We have a great stay at the Lex Hotel NYC! It's a good value for the price, which is impressive considering how expensive accommodations can be in New York. The location is very convenient, making it easy to explore the city. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, making the experience even more pleasant. Another highlight was the complimentary breakfast, which was a nice touch to start the day. If the weather allows, don't miss the rooftop – the views are amazing and offer a unique chance to enjoy some classic NYC sightseeing in a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’d definitely recommend it!

For the price point of most NYC lodging, this is a great deal. Bed was comfortable, room is clean, and shower is nice. Shockingly, the room was very quiet -- easy to sleep in. Bonus points for location -- while its not my favorite neighborhood to hang out in, the hotel is right off the 6 train, making it convenient both for uptown museums, as well as Brooklyn. Its a very short walk to Union Square, and a medium/long but nice walk to Chelsea (or a short bus ride). Also, the staff were very friendly and generous with their time.
